The Aimpoint Pro has a illuminated 3-9×40 scope with a red dot sight, while the Eotech only has a 2-7×32 scope. The Aimpoint Pro also comes with an extra battery and lens covers, whereas the Eotech does not. Features of the Aimpoint Pro and Eotech I'm comparing three different red dots today: an older Eotech EXPS2-0, a Aimpoint PRO, and a Holosun 503. More research this evening and I stumbled upon the aimpoint pro for about $400.If going with an eotech, the exps2 or xps2 is a much better route than the 512 due to the battery not being in line with the barrel. The older models suffer from recoil related issues with the battery contacts. The New models address that flaw, which seems like the most common problem with the eotechs. typos courtesy of my smart phone field application specialist salary
